WELCOME TO THE LEWISTON GUN CLUB!
The Lewiston Gun Club (LGC) was established in 1881. LGC has the distinction of being the oldest active gun club in America.
We have been at our present location for the past 40 years. Prior to that the club was in six different locations in the Lewis-Clark valley.
Our membership consistently averages over 200 people. This membership is made up of skeet, trap and 5-stand shooters. Many families, as well as individual men and women make up our membership. In addition, we are very proud to support an active youth shooters program.
The Lewiston Gun Club hosts state shoots in both trap and skeet on a rotating basis. The 2008 Idaho State Trap Shoot will be held in Lewiston.
Probably the one thing that LGC is the best known for around the shooting community is the Camas Prairie Handicap. This 3-day shoot has been an annual event for over fifty years. All but the first few have been shot at the Lewiston Gun Club.
We are about to turn the page into a new era of our club with our upcoming relocation and the future looks good.

Location & Directions
Lewiston Gun Club is located on the southwest corner of the airport. Follow signs to airport, turn south from Bryden Avenue on to Fourth Street, bear right on to O'Connor Road and continue for approximately 2 miles. You may also turn south from Bryden Avenue on to Seventh Street and follow road around the airport to the club.
